Chelsea Knight

Hey everyone, my name is Chelsea Knight, and I am a senior from Madison, North Carolina.  I am an English major and will be graduating this spring.  Ideally, I would like to pursue graduate school in the future; however, next year I'm taking a year off to relax and help my brother start up a greenhouse business.  I decided to take ENGL 128 because I love American Literature and wanted another English class this semester.  I am super stoked about reading Moby-Dick again.  I just read it this past summer and was pleasantly surprised by it.  For some reason I envisioned it as a big scary boring book, but I found the story is actually pretty epic.  It can seem like a daunting read, but I encourage everyone to give it a chance because it is definitely worth the effort (says the lame English major).  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and also working as a freelance makeup artist with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics; it's a really nice job because it allows me to travel North Carolina on the weekends and meet a lot of really interesting people.  I am a fairly laid-back person and kind of free-spirited.  I look forward to getting to know everyone this semester!
